Reports indicate that the e-Aadhaar app's development phase is almost complete, potentially leading to its launch by December 2025. UIDAI has not made any official announcement yet, but news coming from September confirms this. Which Aadhaar details can be easily updated through the app?

With the help of this new app, users will be able to update their date of birth, mobile number, address, and other important information in their Aadhar cards in just a few minutes. What will be the difference between e-Aadhaar and the mAadhaar app?

The mAadhaar app was recently updated on 28th October 2025, which emphasizes privacy and portability. But the update facility is limited. The new e-Aadhaar app will make it an 'all-in-one' platform, where everything from download to PVC card order can be done from mobile.
